Instruct — You may need to teach your audience something new that they didn’t know before. For example, this is where a “how to” article can come in handy. The point of this is to teach them about their problems and the solutions available for them.
Interact — This is especially important on social media. Content that doesn’t cause people to want to engage with you and interact with you isn’t doing anything for you or them.
Inspire — You also want your audience to be inspired to act on the content that you create for them. You want them to answer your calls to action. You want them to sign up for your newsletter. You want them to answer your survey. You want them to share. You want them to buy.
But writing may not be in your wheelhouse. Maybe you just don’t have the time to do it or want to do it. But, that doesn’t change the fact that it needs to be done. You need content for every state of your buyer’s journey. Once you have that in place it suddenly becomes easy to attract more clients, get more people to buy from you, and to build a community of interested and engaged people who want what you have to offer.
